On Friday, December 7, the Newtown Library hosted a reading and book signing for the new book, As We Were by Bill Craighead and Kingdon Swayne. Sixty people were interested in the local heroes of WWII and enjoyed meeting them and hearing their stories. Click here for more.

On Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m., Jennifer Beagle Hannon read and signed copies of her book, Cop Buddy, during story hour. The book honors the memory of Police Officer, Brian S. Gregg. Click here for more about the book.
